TRINITY FAIR SHOW RULES (2010)
1. All classes are open to amateur exhibitors only:
(a) Entry for the rose classes is restricted to Bottisham & District Gardening Club members and Bottisham residents;
(b) Entry for the junior classes is for Year 6 pupils and younger.
2. All exhibitors shall provide their own equipment and no liability will be accepted for loss/ damage to exhibits and/or equipment.
3. Exhibits will be accepted from 10.00 a.m. for judging at 12 noon at which time all persons must leave the Exhibition Area unless their presence is required in an official capacity.
4. If a competitor is awarded more than one place in a class then points will be awarded only for the highest placed exhibit.
5. All entries shall be entered and produced by individual exhibitors.
6. The judges may withhold awards when exhibits are considered not to have reached reasonable Show standards.
7. Exhibits not to be removed before 4.00 p.m.
8. Entry forms (no exhibits) to be sent to Mr Derek Latchford, 48 Lode Road, Bottisham, on or before 10 June 2010. Late entries may be accepted up to 11.30 am on the day.
ENTRY FEES: £1 per exhibit. Junior Classes - Free
9. Trophy points for Rose Show entries will be awarded to as follows:-
1st = three points, 2nd = two points, 3rd = one point
10 The winner of the Rose Show will receive the Trinity Fair Rose Award Cup.
Prizes of £5, £2 and £1 will be awarded in each of the Junior Classes
11. All matters not covered by these rules shall be referred to the Committee for
a final decision.
